Benny Junior Brown

Mr. Benny Junior Brown, age 78 of Brown Road, Toccoa passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Pruitt Health Toccoa.

A son of the late Arch Brown and Bertie Lawrence Brown, he was born May 4, 1947 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life. He was a truck driver for Davis Transfer for many years and did lawn care for others. He loved wood working and had a deep desire to help others. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He was a member of Rock Quarry Congregational Holiness Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Bobbie Brown, Sanford Brown, Nellie Nation, Stella Ramey, Selma Thurmond, Mildred Brown, Mellie Brown, Margie Brown and Hugh Brown.

He is survived by his wife of the home, Joyce Collins Brown, daughters and sons-in-law, Marie and Tommy Rogers of Eastanollee, Vickie Brown of Toccoa and Betty Jo and David Mace of Toccoa; five grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Jerry Collins of Toccoa; brother, Marvin Brown of Toccoa; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 24, 2026, 3 p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Jeremy Garmon and The Reverend Clarence Reynolds. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Marvin Brown, Olen Simmons, Elijah Garmon, Ben Holland, Dustin Rogers, Casey Rogers, Tony Ritchie and Blake Holland. Great-grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers, Jadd Rogers, Lucah Rogers, Fenyx Rogers, Cooper Rogers, Jaden Rogers, Eli Laviolette, Jared Holland, Joseph Holland and Sawyer Waldon.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. until the service time at 3 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Roselane Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Benny Junior Brown.
