AwwBenny Farrell Buie, a beloved patriarch and vibrant soul, was born on July 12, 1933, in Big Sandy, Tennessee. He was the son of Thomas and Katie (Moon) Buie. He departed from this life on November 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
Benny dedicated a significant portion of his life to his career as a Pipe Fitter for Revere Copper and Brass. His work ethic, craftsmanship, and commitment to his profession were evident in everything he did. Benny was not only a skilled tradesman but also a remarkable man known for his love of home improvements and real estate ventures. His passion for buying and selling houses allowed him to infuse his unique style into various homes, creating spaces filled with warmth and character.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Benny had an exuberant spirit that embraced life's pleasures. He found joy in ballroom dancing, effortlessly gliding across the floor, often bringing smiles to those who gathered at social gatherings. He particularly cherished the simple yet profound joys of life, especially his cherished family dog, a faithful companion who brought him comfort and companionship.
Benny was a proud member of the Loyal Order of The Moose, where he formed lasting friendships and shared camaraderie with fellow members. His warm heart and giving nature were evident in all aspects of his life, as he created memories with those around him.
He is survived by his beloved son, Lawrence Buie, and dear daughter, Loretta Weaver; as well as a brother Jessie (Colleen) Buie; many grandchildren and a loving friend Mary Skevington. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings, but the memories shared will always remain.
Benny also mourned the loss of his beloved daughter, Lisa Joyce Buie, and four siblings, whose absence is felt deeply. Their spirits continue to live on in the memories of their love and the stories they shared.
Benny Farrell Buie will forever be remembered as a loving father, friend, and a man who embraced life with open arms. His legacy of love, laughter, and unyielding spirit will continue to light the way for those who knew him.
