Benny Marchman Obituary

Benny was born in Dublin, Georgia on September 20, 1944, to the late Henry Stephens Marchman and Hazel Glisson Marchman and his stepmother Alice Marchman. He grew up in Dublin and was a graduate of Laurens County High School. Benny retired from Sara Lee with over 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by a sister Dianne Phillips.
Survivors include his wife Carol Frazier Marchman of Milledgeville, three daughters Melinda M. Adams (Nicky) of Jeffersonville, Pamela Willis (Billy) of Gainesville, and Lisa Donnelly (Walter) of Milledgeville, a sister Audra Tidwell (Chuck), six grandchildren Kyndal Herndon (Travis), Kirstyn Adams, Joshua Willis, Jenny Smith (Justin), Kaleigh Hardie (Nathan) and Ashley Brett (Timothy), eight great grandchildren, Jenson Hardie, Adi Grace Herndon, Nicholas Herndon, Brody Herndon, Everett Smith, Kaden Willis, Kinsley Willis and Kacie Lake, a niece Lisa Bonney (Jay) of Lizella.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
Moores Funeral home & Crematory has charge of arrangements.
