Eva Lester Obituary
Mrs. Lester was born in Mathis, Texas on November 8, 1962, to the late Cruz Ortiz, Sr. and Elodia Pulido Ortiz. She worked for Kmart as a department lead and helped her husband in his Business for many years. She served her country in the United States Air Force reaching the rank of Sergeant. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Mrs. Lester was preceded in death by two brothers Robert Ortiz and Frank Ortiz, two sister Estella O. Padilla and Matilda Zamora.
Survivors include her husband Jarrell Cleveland Lester, Jr., two sons Jarrell C. Lester, III, and James Cody Lester, five brothers Cruz Ortiz Jr., Israel Ortiz, Lupe Ortiz, David Ortiz, two sisters Dora Simmons and Elodia Wilson, and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
Moores Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of arrangements.

Eva was a beautiful soul with a love for her Lord and family and is in God´s presence now..She was so kind to all who knew her and would willingly help those that she could. Prayers for Cleve and her sons as they go through this trying time
