Marcus Franklin Bentley

Marcus Franklin "Frank" Bentley, age 77, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026. Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, March 9th at Bentley Family Cemetery with Rev. Lucious Youngblood officiating.

Mr. Bentley was born in Irwinton, Georgia on February 23, 1949, to the late Emills Lugand Bentley and Lillie Elois Clark Bentley. He served his county in the United States Army. Mr. Bentley worked for Arcilla Minning Company as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He was preceded in death by a son Michael R. Bentley.

Survivors include his wife Martha Ann Jones Bentley of Toomsboro, two sons Donald Bentley, and Marcus Bentley, Jr. (Kim) of Toomsboro, his sisters Della Bell of Toomsboro, Emily Currin (Burl) of Milledgeville, Ruth Cowart (Clarence) of Irwinton, Sarah Greene of Milledgeville, Helen Barnes (Dennis) and Mary Faircloth (Eff) both of Milledgeville and Winona Patterson (Donnie) of Toomsboro, his brother Lugand Bentley (Shirley) of Toomsboro, four grandchildren Alex Bentley (Alley), Kaitlyn Williams (Brandon), Madison McCue (Will), Heather Johnson (Mark) and three great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends following the service on Monday.

Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
