Robert Lewis Obituary
Mr. Lewis was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on January 24, 1942. After high school he joined the United State Army and was stationed at Ft. Gordon. On a weekend trip to Milledgeville he met his future wife, Dianne McCullough. He worked at Central State Hospital where he served as the Director of Housekeeping at the Georgia War Veterans Home. Mr. Lewis was a member of the V.F.W. American Legion and served as the Youth Athletic Director at the Baldwin County Recreation Department for over 20 years and was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his wife Dianne McCullough Lewis. He was a member of First Methodist Church.
Survivors include his daughter Pam Tindal, his son Greg Lewis, four grandchildren: Lacy Tindal (fiancee Chase), Robbie Tindal, Emma Lewis and Griffin Lewis, all of Milledgeville.
Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to FMC River of Life.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
Moores Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of arrangements.
