Jo Beth Donnelly

Jo Beth Chapman Donnelly, age 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2026. In place of graveside services and ceremony, a private burial for the family will be held.

Mrs. Donnelly was born in Elberton, Georgia, on August 10, 1937, to the late William Henry Chapman and Fidelia Hall Chapman. She had made her home in Milledgeville and was a graduate of Peabody School and later GSCW. She owned and operated Donnelly's Flowers Shop for over 50 years. She was a member of First Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Donnelly Jr (Doodle).

Survivors include her son Walter M. Donnelly, III (Lisa), three daughters, Lynn Morgan (Curtis), Keith Grant (the late David Grant), and Pam Gray (Jeff), all of Milledgeville, her brother Henry Chapman (Cathy) of Milledgeville, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The family also wishes to thank her caregivers and hospice nurses, Janette, Gloria, Linda, and Lois.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Methodist Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
