Benoit Alexandre Luyckx

In loving memory of Dr. Benoit ("Ben") Alexandre Luyckx, who passed away peacefully on November 21st, 2023 at the age of 61. He spent his last weeks at home in Prescott, AZ surrounded by his family. He was born on December 6th, 1961 in Recourt, Belgium to Leon and Claire Luyckx.
Dr. Luyckx was a skilled and devoted physician who specialized in the field of Radiology for 35 years. His passion was evident in the meticulous care he provided to patients.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ben had a heart full of love for nature, finding solace in the simple beauty of the world around him. His sense of humor brightened the lives of all fortunate enough to know him. He had an uncanny ability to find laughter in the ordinary and could turn any moment into a cherished memory with a well-timed joke.
Ben is survived by his loving wife Kimberly; his daughter Olivia Day (Matthew) of Loveland, CO; and his daughter Valerie of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by his parents Leon and Claire Luyckx; and his siblings – Joelle Geary, Andre (Susan), Evelyne Elgqvist (Magnus), and Nathalie Marshall, as well as his many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family who will forever hold onto the precious memories of shared laughter and the unique joy that he brought to their lives.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the hospice staff at Compassus for their support and care. A private celebration of life service will be held.
