Berg Theodore Steffensen passed away at home August 21st 2025. Berg was born in Crosby to Erma Sateren and LeRoy (Bud) Steffensen March 18th, 1959. Berg and Donita were married March 4th, 1980.

Berg loved spending his time riding motorcycles, golfing, hunting, fishing, and working on cars. He surrounded himself with music, friends, and family. But most of all he loved being a husband, a father, a grandfather, a brother, and a friend to so many people. He had such a big heart and was loved by so many.

Berg was very dedicated to his work as a seismographer, a mechanic, and retired at Ameripride.

Berg is survived by his wife, Donita Steffensen; daughter, Amber Tisi (Stan Thomas); son, Trevor (Brittany) Steffensen; grandchildren, Jerzey, Brooklynn, and Bentley Tisi, and Branch Steffensen; brother, Darrell Steffensen; sisters, Deb (Gary) Smith, Carrie (Rick) Bilstad, and Darla Samuel (Gary Olin); mother-in-law, Ilene Hoff; Brothers and sisters-in-law, Loren (Dorothy) Hoff, Layne Hoff, Larry Hoff, Deanna (Mike) Ennis, Dawn (Kent) Holub, and Pam Hoff; 24 nieces and nephews; 20 great nieces and nephews. And let's not forget Berg's grand dogs Monroe and Memphis.

Berg is preceded in death by his mother and father; sister, Bonnie Mcphail; father-in-law, Norman Hoff; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Leland Hoff and Devon Hoff.

Visitation will take place on Friday, August 29 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.

Memorial Service: Saturday, August 30th, 2025, 11:00 am, at Faith Lutheran Church in Columbus. The service will be recorded and uploaded for the public to view at https://youtu.be/kSH0bqBAoEo

Berg's resting place will be the Bethlehem Cemetery outside of Columbus.

Berg will be missed by me. He was a GREAT friend and riding buddy, when we lived in Minot. He will also be missed by the ROW MC, which he rode with once in a while. RIP Brother.
