Funeral services for Bernadean Lowe 92, of
Harker Heights, Texas will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 03, 2026 at Killeen Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Killeen, with Adam Garber officiating.
Miss. Lowe passed away peacefully on January 25th, 2026, at Seaton Hospital.
Bernadean was born Jan 17, 1934, in Liboura Missouri. She married Vernon Lowe in January 1953 in Picket, Arkansas. After Mr. Lowe retired from the U.S. Army, the couple moved to Harker Height in 1969, where she made her home for many years.
Bernadean was the heart of her family and the true embodiment of a homemaker. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and unwavering dedication to those she loved was evident in every part of her life.
She is survived by her daughter Diann Barns her husband Steve Barns, of Coulterville California: sons, Michael Lowe, and wife Sudarat Lowe, of Harker Heights, Gary Lowe, of Harker Heights; grand children, Brandy Randol, Joshua Randol, Ashlie, Lowe, and Cory Lowe; great grandchild; Arbor Lowe. She is also survived, by her sister Sue Parks of Windfall; son Jack Baugher of Kokomo; Todd parks of Marion; daughters Donna Brown of Windfall; Jill Roudebush of Tipton; residents of Indiana.
A caregiver in the purest sense, she was always there for others, offering a place to stay, a warm meal, or a comforting embrace. Her home was a sanctuary always filled with love, care and room for one more.
Sunday dinners were a cherished tradition, full of fellowship and warmth. Bernadean's interests reflected her nurturing spirit and sharp mind; she enjoyed crocheting, cooking, gardening, reading and playing her computer games, she enjoyed her weekly card games with her friends. She stayed connected with her family, regularly checking in and keeping everyone updated on one another's lives. Bernadean was a woman of deep and unwavering faith. She attended, services at North Side Baptist Church in Nolanville, and her love for the Lord guided her actions and generous spirit throughout her life. The community will remember her as a beacon of love and selflessness.
Her family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with her loved ones in eternal peace. Though her passing leaves a avoid in the hearts of all who knew her, her memory will live on as a testament to the profound impact of kindness, faith, and devotion.
Bernadean Lowe's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, compassion, and grace. Her story is not one of an end, but a lasting inspiration for all who were blessed to know her.
