Bernadette Kernen (Bernie Hahn)
Age 90, went home to her Savior and was reunited with her husband, Clifford Kernen, in death on August 16, 2024. She is also reunited with her immediate family: her parents Bernice and Oswald Hahn, her brother Raymond Hahn and her sister Gladys.
She is survived by her children: Susan (Dan) Larson, Mary (Jeff) Boneck, Judy (Mick) Beck, Thomas (Gina) Kernen, Jeff (Ma Elvina) Kernen, Andrew (Paula) Kernen and Julia Kernen. Bernadette is further survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
They will all have fond memories of silly faces, gardening and raspberry jello.
After retirement, Bernie and Cliff moved to Hot Springs AR for a wonderful 25+ years until Cliff's death. Bernie returned to Wisconsin for the remainder of her life to be near her family. She as a very strong and loving woman and will be missed greatly.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the time of the memorial service at 11:30 AM at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 380 Bluemound Road, Waukesha (Hwys J&JJ 4 Blks South of I-94)
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to either Jackson House (www.jacksonhouse.org) or St. Jude (www.stjude.org) Those were two of mom's favorite charities.
