Bernadette was born in Ogden, Utah, at St. Benedict’s Hospital to Raymond and Doris Catherine Mitchell. She grew up in Ogden and was a proud graduate of Ogden High School. Throughout her life, she enjoyed roller skating, dancing, and listening to music. She cherished classic films, particularly "Sparkle" and "The Bodyguard."
Bernadette is survived by her daughters, Felicia Blinker, Alicia Epps, and Destiny Mitchell, along with three beloved grandchildren: Allison Foster, Alani Mitchell, Michael Camron, and Zayden Mitchell. She is also survived by her brothers Ronald, Byron, and Fredrick Mitchell, and her sisters Sharon Waters, Lynda Faye Timbers, Colletta Mitchell, and Rena Mitchell. She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who adored her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Doris Mitchell; her brothers Raymond and Rodney Mitchell; and her sister Catherine Mitchell.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit with family at a Viewing before the service from 12 to 1 p.m. Interment immediately following, Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd, Ogden, Utah.
