February 2, 1937 - February 12, 2026
Bernadine "Bernie" Striegel, of Park Falls, passed away on Thursday, February 12th, 2026.
Bernie was born February 2, 1937, the daughter of Roy and Margery (Werth) Wandry. Due to the early death of both parents, she was raised by her grandparents, Ernest and Mabel Werth.
Her early life and schooling were in Park Falls, graduating from Lincoln High School, class of 1955. On April 4th, 1959, she was united in marriage to Douglas Striegel in Park Falls.
Bernie worked many years as a CNA at Park Manor, retiring in 2007. Throughout the years she enjoyed boating, fishing and especially snowmobiling with her family. She treasured the beauty of the Flambeau River and country life.
She is survived by her three children: Jan (Steve) Johnson, Jeff Striegel and Lisa Jeurissen. Further survived by her dear friend, Brenda Striegel, grandchildren, great grandchildren, many friends and relatives.
Preceded in death by Douglas Striegel, husband of 55 years, brother-in-law George Striegel, sons-in-law Craig Jeurissen and Victor Heaviland, sister-in-law Shirley Striegel. Interment will be a private ceremony with immediate family at a later date.
