Bernard Quentin "Bimbo" Ellison, age 71, of London, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, March 5, 2026. He was born on July 4, 1954, in Hamilton, Ohio, the beloved son of the late Quentin Creech Ellison and Maggie Ellen Messer Ellison.

Bimbo was united in marriage to his loving wife, Selena Katherine Mobley Ellison, who preceded him in death.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his two children, Tracy Ellison of Corbin, Kentucky, and Bernard Quentin "JR" Ellison, Jr. (Justice) of Keavy, Kentucky. He is also survived by three siblings, Linda Howard, Jamie Ellison, and Libby Campbell and husband George, all of London, Kentucky.

Bimbo was a proud and loving grandfather to Jacob Wren, Caleb Wren, Amber Carter and husband Nathan, Kaety Ellison, Bodie Ellison, and Teagan Ellison, and a devoted great-grandfather to Dallas Carter and Maddie Carter. He also leaves behind a host of extended family members and dear friends who will greatly miss him.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Bimbo was preceded in death by four siblings: Ronald Keith Ellison, Ruth Ann Morgan, Homer Neil Ellison, and Carl Randall Ellison.

Bimbo loved his family deeply and took great pride in them. He was a dedicated Christian music store owner and was a man of strong faith, being of the Baptist faith. He will be remembered for his love for music, his kindness, and the many lives he touched throughout the years.
