Bernard "Bing" Fishman

Bernard "Bing" Fishman, 85, of Newry, ME, formerly of Manchester by the Sea, Entered Eternal Rest on December 28, 2024.
Bing was born in Lynn, MA, the son of the late Arthur & Ann Fishman. He was a foundational member of Grady-White Boats, being the personification of the brand in the Northeast for over 40 years. At Grady White Boats, he always had the highest integrity and was known for his honest and straightforward manner in all his relationships. He was a seasoned professional who willingly shared his time and talent with so many during the decades he was there. He had the highest standards on how to treat the dealers and customers to ensure they received the care and experience they deserved. He had an infectious sense of humor which he shared to make newcomers feel a part of the team and to deepen relationships with his dealers, customers and friends as well. He endeared himself to all with his practical jokes, which made working a boat show with him a terrific learning experience on how to help people find the right Grady-White boat and to make friends for life.
He was the devoted husband of the late Betty Ann (Enenstein) Fishman; the beloved father of the late Robert J. Fishman & father-in-law of Lisa Becker Fishman; the adored grandfather of Daniel Fishman and Sarah Fishman; and dear brother of Bruce & his wife Linda Fishman. He was always fiercely loving and loyal to his family, friends and his dogs and we will all miss his broad smile and big heart, always.
Services at the Mount Jacob Cemetery 96 Fernald Street, Gloucester on Friday, January 3rd at 11:00AM. Following the interment all are invited to Temple Ahavat Achim 86 Middle Street, Gloucester.
