Bernard "Brent" LaFleur, 58, a beloved brother, son, cousin, and uncle, passed away on September 5, 2025. Born on May 1, 1967, in New Orleans, LA, to Albert and Marilyn LaFleur, Brent was a man of hard work and dedication, having spent 29 years as a truck driver.
Brent is survived by his mother, Marilyn LaFleur; sister, Tricia LaFleur; nephews, Benjamin (Marisa) McGue and Zachary McGue (Kirsten); great-nephew, Gabriel; great-niece, Ivy; and his significant other, Shelby Nicole Ortego.
He is preceded in death by his father, Albert B. LaFleur; maternal grandparents, Wilson and Mary Roberie; and paternal grandparents, Rodney and Cammie LaFleur.
The family invites all to pay their respects on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM. A Rosary will be prayed at 1:00 PM by Arlene and Todd Lafleur.
Burial will take place following the Rosary in St. Peters Cemetery in Grand Prairie.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to offset funeral expenses.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte.
