Bernard Siniarski Obituary

Visit the Pray Funeral Home, Inc. website to view the full obituary.
Bernard "Ben" Louis Siniarski, 86, of Charlotte, formerly of Laingsburg, died peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, November 10, 2025. Ben was born February 5, 1939, in Detroit, the son of Sigmund and Mary (Borkowski) Siniarski. He graduated high school in 1957 before enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps. Upon his return from the service, he earned his bachelor's degree from Lawrence Tech in Southfield, MI. Ben worked over 30 years in telephone communications, starting with Michigan Bell, later Ameritech and finally AT&T.

Ben loved model trains of all sizes and shapes. He enjoyed attending model train shows on a regular basis and could often be found reworking his train room. Ben was also a longtime member of the Laingsburg Lion's Club, and enjoyed time spent with his family. In his early years, he and his daughter, Lisa, enjoyed time spent snow-skiing together. He was also a talented stained-glass artist, creating many beautiful pieces throughout his life. Above all, family was Ben's life focus.

Ben is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kay Ellen Siniarski; their children, Kimberly (Darryl) Brija, James (Rhonda) Bartlett, Debbie (Bob Danhof) Bartlett, and Lisa (Justin) Pyle; 4 grandchildren, Nicklas Pyle, Nathan Pyle, Noah Pyle, and Jaine Burke; 3 great-grandchildren, Matthew Burke, Dylan Burke, and Bradley Burke; sister, Marie Rakowski; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Ireland; and several nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents; grandson, Brandon Bartlett; brother, Tom Siniarksi; and brother-in-law, Bob Rakowski.

Friends are encouraged to support Ben's family by attending services or sharing memories on his Tribute Page at www.prayfuneral.com. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Pray Funeral Home in Charlotte with Rev. Fr. Dwight Ezop officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., just prior to the service. The funeral will be webcast so you may watch it from any computer, smartphone, or mobile device that has internet access. Go to www.prayfuneral.com, click on Ben's tribute, then click on Photos and Videos from your computer (or Media from your smart phone). If desired, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Lion's Club. The family is in the care of Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte.
