Bernard graduated from Coldwater High School with the class of 1963. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina and the Knights of Columbus Council #1800. He retired from Goodyear in St. Marys after 40 years of service. Barney had a huge heart and loved many people. He was always busy with his many hobbies. Summer times were all about gardening, tending to his yard that he has always been so proud of or watching the Cincinnati Reds. In between he was either playing cards, making waffles or at an auction. When winter came around it was all about decorating for Christmas, cheering for the Cleveland Browns, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Celina bulldogs. Everyday all day he was taking care of his wife whom he would be celebrating 60 years of marriage with in June. Spoiling his grandkids and his dachshund Holly, who will dearly miss him.
