Rosemarie Love Sudhoff, 86, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2024, with her loving family by her side.
Rosemarie was born in Louisville, KY on July 4, 1938, to Hayward Love and Frances Stevenson Love McGrew. She was 1 of 9 children. She graduated from Greensfork High School. She was a devoted Catholic, teaching Religious Education for many years and singing in the choir. She loved baking scones and drinking hot tea. She enjoyed traveling, especially the solo trip she took to Switzerland, genealogy, history, reading, quilting, crocheting, and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John C. Sudhoff; son, John J. Sudhoff; brothers, Eddie Love, Richard Love, David McGrew, Kenney McGrew, and Bobby McGrew; and sister, Millie Love Bowerman.
Survived by her daughters, Dianne Hooker (Michael) and Amy Bilbray (Clarence "Gene"); son, Joseph Sudhoff (Sharron); brothers, Tom McGrew and Steve McGrew; grandchildren, Meghan Hooker Carli, Mikey Hooker, Moriah Sudhoff Tate, Jordan Sudhoff, Rhylee Sudhoff, Joleigh Sudhoff, Zachary Bilbray, and Rachel Bilbray; great grandchildren, Sebastien Hooker-Carli, Ryder Tate, Zinnie Tate, Hudson Sudhoff, Jude Sudhoff, Dean Sudhoff, and Effy Sudhoff; many nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Pruitt Health and Community Hospice.
