Sarah Swails Fallin, 85, of Orange Park, FL passed away September 28, 2025. She was born November 5, 1939 in Branford, FL to the late Gladys Marie Milford Swails and Oscar Perry Swails. Sarah graduated from Branford High School in June of 1957 and graduated from Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education in 1961, followed by Jacksonville University with her Masters of Art in Education in 1975. She was employed as a Teacher for Duval County Public Schools retiring after 36 years of devoted service.
Sarah was a dedicated member of Branford Church of God and Island View Baptist Church of Orange Park. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority, Jacksonville University Alumni Association, The Antique Automobile Club of America and Early Birds of Northeast Florida. Sarah enjoyed traveling, cooking, gardening, needleworking and reading novels – especially historical dramas. More than anything she cherished visiting and spending time with her large immediate and extended family and loved hosting dinners and parties for family and friends. Sarah was a huge Jaguar fan, attending as a Season Ticket Holder for over twenty seasons and was a great supporter of theater arts as well. She was a season partner at The Alhambra and long-time season ticket owner for the FSCJ Broadway Series and The Jacksonville Symphony Pop Series. Sarah was a generous contributor to many non-profit organizations including The March of Dimes, The American Cancer Society and several local Children's Education organizations including The Community Nutcracker, Sanctuary of 8th St, We Care of Jacksonville and others over the years.
She was preceded by her parents; husband, George Louis Fallin; siblings, Ola Mae (Bill) Baggett; Adel (Dick) Wheeler; Marie (Ray) Jones; Irue (J.C.) Shepherd; Novadine (A.G.) Flowers; Sylvia (Jim) Austin; Etsel (Carla) Swails.
Sarah is survived by her sister, Toni Barrs (Robert); stepchildren, Kristin Fallin (John) Trotter; Thomas Nelson (Karen) Fallin; Georgia Ann (Mac) Moye; grandchildren, Barbara Sue Moye; Ann Marie Moye (Craig Watson); Matthew George Moye; Laura Fallin Moye. Rebecca Fallin Hancock (John); Jeffrey Nelson Fallin (Savannah); Melanie Fallin Shahani (Sagar). George Nicholas Trotter; Emily Fallin Trotter; great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jensen, Tanner (Hancock), Marjorie, Veronica, Leah, Fleet (Fallin), Maya Shahani, Mackston Staley and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, October 17, 2025 in the Jacksonville Memory Gardens Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until service time.

Sarah was such a wonderful lady, and I am glad I was able to get to know her. We shared a special friendship and she will truly be missed. She was so kind hearted and always showed such a positive outlook on life. My condolences go to her family, and wishing you all peace and comfort at this difficult time.
