Carroll Edward Hall, Age 92, of Branford, FL, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by his family on September 13, 2025.

Carroll was preceded in death by his parents, S.C. and Nora Hall, and two precious great-grandchildren, Memphis James Brown and Emilia Kate Miller.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 70 years, Wilma Thomas Hall; two daughters, Anna Kelley (Kevin) and Elizabeth Brown (Eddie), both of Branford; five grandchildren, Rance Brown (Brittany) of Lake Charles, LA. , Kyle Kelley (Tera), Kelsey Brown McCormick (Brady), Katelyn Kelley Miller (Trey), and Kaleb Kelley, all of Branford; and eight beloved great-grandchildren, Cutter, Swayzee, and Texie McCormick; Kline and Kyleighann Kelley; and Ellis, Edison, and Everett Miller.

A 1950 graduate of Branford High School, Carroll served as Student Council President and was an active member of the Future Farmers of America. In high school he would meet his future wife while attending a church revival meeting. Following graduation, he proudly served his country as a Corporal in the U.S. Army, receiving an honorable discharge in 1955.

Upon discharge from the Army, he returned to the family farm and married his sweetheart Wilma Thomas.

For more than 70 years, Carroll worked as a farmer, growing tobacco, peanuts, corn, pine trees, and raising hogs and cattle. In the 1970s, he pursued his passion for flying, piloting a Piper Cub. He cherished his time in the sky, aboard his bright yellow plane.

Carroll was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Branford, where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and Sunday School Superintendent. Carroll found joy in making his famous peanut brittle and sharing it with friends and neighbors, a simple act of kindness that brought sweetness to the whole community. His life was a testimony of devotion to the Lord and love for his family and community.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 5-7pm at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center, Branford, FL. A funeral service to celebrate Carroll's life will be held at 11am, Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the same location, followed by interment in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Bro. Carroll will be missed by so many. He was a positive influence on many and an example of Christian service. While working at First Baptist Church, I witnessed his devotion to his church. Not only did he work hard caring for the building, he cared even more about the "church family". Over the years, even when I was not attending FBC, he would call to check on me and ask if there was anything he could do for my family. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
