Obituary of Bernard R. Tillinghast

Bernard R. Tillinghast "Wolf", age 68 years of Haddon Twp, passed away peacefully at home on July 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved son of the late Bernard R. and Jane M. Tillinghast (nee McKay). Devoted brother of Dorothy Rudolph (Mike), Esther Tillinghast, William J. Tillinghast and the late James P. Tillinghast, Thomas W. Tillinghast and Mary K. Tillinghast-Maminski. Loving uncle of Daniel Tillinghast (Christine) and Charles Frohlich (Christy). Dear nephew of Eunice Cotter, Dorothy "Leah" Petracci (Mark), Patricia Hall and Frances McKay. Also survived by his lifelong partner, Marlene Dyer, sister-in-law, Theresa Tillinghast, brother-in-law, Mark Maminski, as well as many loving cousins, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.

Prior to retirement, Wolf worked as a long-haul truck driver for many years. He then worked as an artist with the carnival all around the world, painting the carousel horses that are still in use today. Wolf was a chef at Best Western Hotel in Westminster, MD and most recently he delivered flowers for Mendez and Jackel Flowers in Camden. When he was not working, he loved riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 10:30-11:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM. Final disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to All Mutts Matter Rescue, 16 Aristone Drive Berlin, NJ 08009.
