Berndt Franz Schneider, 69 of Brunswick passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025 following a stroke on Friday, May 30. He ran his family’s construction business, Pannonia Builders, which built many homes in Brunswick, especially the Old Mill Community. He continued the upkeep of the German American Business Center in his more recent years. Berndt could fix anything and his family and many others could always depend on him to help them. He really spent a lifetime of service to people and the community. Berndt also enjoyed dirt bikes and racing and going to the casino. He rejoins his beloved wife Cindie, and will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
Berndt is survived by his loving children, Michael Schneider and Hayley Schneider; grandchildren, Franklin and Clara Schneider; siblings, Karl Schneider (Debra), Lena Knight (Joe), and Erik Schneider; and his father-in-law, Pat Patrick.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cindie; and his parents, Michael and Gull Schneider.
A Celebration of Berndt’s life will take place on Monday, June 9 from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at the Old Mill Village Clubhouse, 1232 Old Eagle Drive, Brunswick, Ohio.
