Bernell Fletcher Kile

Funeral services for Mrs. Bernell Fletcher Kile will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, March 16, 2026, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverends Dexter Edwards and James Swartz officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Campbell Creek Cemetery, Sharp, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mrs. Kile, 87, of Lena, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Bernell was a loving mother and devoted grandmother whose greatest joy in life was her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including bowling, making homemade jellies, and canning. Known for her warm spirit, Bernell was rarely seen without a smile and never met a stranger. Her kindness and welcoming nature touched everyone who knew her.

Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was deeply dedicated to serving God, and her devotion guided the way she lived and cared for others. Bernell will be remembered for her loving heart, joyful presence, and unwavering faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, Jamesette Kile; one son, Darwin L. Kile; her parents, Edgar and Allie Fletcher; two brothers, Gus Fletcher and Jerry Fletcher; and one daughter-in-law, Connie Kile.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include one son, Daren Kile (Deborah) of Lena; seven grandchildren, Christie Jones (Kevin), Laura Kile, Casey Kile (Aimee), Andrea Brossette (Dmarcus), Garrett Kile, Tully Burns (Jodi), and Patrick O'Quin; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Jerome Fletcher of Boyce and Juane Fletcher of Sharp; and her dear friends, Merle and Becky Knight.

Pallbearers honored to serve are: Casey Kile, Garrett Kile, Rob McKay, Dmarcus Brossette, Jonathan Coutee, and Kevin Fletcher.
