Gregory "Wayne" Martin

Funeral services for Mr. Gregory "Wayne" Martin will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Pine Coupee Pentecostal Church, Flatwoods, with Reverends Roland George and Jeremy Dunnam officiating. Interment will follow in Gorum Cemetery, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mr. Martin, 70, of Gorum, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 1, 2026.

Wayne was a loving husband, father, and grandfather whose life was centered around his family. A devoted family man, he brought laughter wherever he went and had a special gift for making those around him smile. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and running heavy equipment, taking pride in hard work and time spent outdoors. Above all, Wayne's greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandson, who meant the world to him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, M.C. and Lorene Martin; his grandparents, Jessie and Edna George; and two brothers, Grayland Martin and Todd Martin.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of forty-six years, Regina Ann Martin of Gorum; one daughter, Twila Poston (Ronnie) of Mora; and one grandson, Ryland Poston.

A time of visitation will be held at Pine Coupee Pentecostal Church, Flatwoods, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, beginning at 5:00 p.m. and will remain open until time of service on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Anthony Nichols, Clint Shillings, Jeremy Dunnam, Will Cases, James Martin, and Ryland Poston.
