Funeral services for Mr. Richard Allen Moore will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at St. Clair Baptist Church, Boyce, with Reverend Randy Ellis officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Hemphill Star Cemetery, Cotile, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mr. Moore, 83, of Sieper, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Regency House, Alexandria, surrounded by his loving family.

Richard was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose love for his family was the cornerstone of his life. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, demonstrating dedication, honor, and commitment to his country. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his son, Roger Moore; his parents, Lee and Jessie Moore; and his brothers and sisters.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of sixty-two years, Betty Moore of Sieper; one daughter, Rita Moore of Alexandria; six grandchildren, Johnathan Smith, Kristen Orlando, Victoria Gomez, Ryan Hadnot, Devin Moore, and Ava Moore; and six great grandchildren.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Johnathan Smith, Ryan Hadnot, Jacob Gomez, Buddy MacFarlane, Ralph Kilstrom, and Fred Leiche.
