Willie Jean Ebey

Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Jean Lucas Harmson will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Center Point Pentecostal Church, with Reverends Carl Beard and David Hutchinson officiating. Interment will follow in Richey Baptist Church Cemetery, Effie, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mrs. Harmson, 88, of Deville, entered eternal rest on Monday, February 9, 2026, in Oak Haven Community Care Center, Center Point, LA.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an excellent cook whose delicious meals could have fed an entire army. She served as a church pianist all her life, beginning in her early years playing from the back of trucks during the brush arbor days. Her deep faith in God inspired everyone who knew her. An avid picture collector, she loved reminiscing and sharing cherished memories of the past. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Ebey, Jr.; her second husband, Calvis Harmson; one daughter, Topel Lynn Ebey; her parents, Buddy and Erble Lucas; and two brothers, Bobby Lucas and James Lucas.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include one son, Kennan Ebey (Joan) of Center Point; one daughter, Kolleen Lane (Kenny) of Thornton, Colorado; two grandsons, Hunter Ebey and Moriah Lane; one granddaughter, Kalaya Aldape (Jesus); soon-to-be great granddaughter, Aurora Lane Aldape; and one sister-in-law, Elaine Lucas.

A time of visitation will be held at Center Point Pentecostal Church, on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at the church on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until time of service.
