Funeral services for Mr. Hunter Alan Ray will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2026, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverends Robert Wise and Stephen Speer officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Palmer Chapel Cemetery, Kolin, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Hunter Alan Ray, 25, of Pineville, Louisiana, born on February 18, 2000, in Alexandria, Louisiana, unexpectedly left this earth in a tragic work-related accident on February 10, 2026. He was the cherished son of Brent and Amy Ray.

Hunter was an all-around exceptional man, son, grandson, brother, nephew, friend, fiancé and most importantly, Dad. He had an unforgettable smile, an infectious laugh, and a great love for his family. To know him was to love him, because he had the ability to positively touch the hearts of everyone he met.

After graduating from Buckeye High School, Hunter hit the ground running. He quickly realized that he did not want to work for anyone but himself, and he began Ray's ATV. Hunter was a highly respected ATV/UTV Mechanic who was known for his quality work, honesty, and extreme work ethic. Being a highly ambitious man, Hunter and his dad were opening B & H All Terrain, where they would expand the services offered.

Hunter greatly loved being outdoors and was a truly happy person. He never stopped. When he was not working, he was outdoors enjoying life. He thoroughly enjoyed bull riding, hunting, fishing, and four-wheeler riding with his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Brent and Amy Ray; his sister, Josey Ray; his grandparents, David and LouAnne Willis, Thomas and Sandra Ray, and Wayne and Linda Garrard; the two loves of his life his fiancée, Karlye Parnell and their daughter, Ella Ann Ray. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that he considered family. Hunter was preceded in death by his grandmother, Laurie Ray.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Brent Ray, Rob Parnell, Peyton Willis, Dakota Jones, Nick Stanford, James Ray, Marshall Ray, Julian Ray, and Braden Hobbs.
