Bernetta Summers Obituary
Bernetta Anna Summers, 85, a resident of Sulphur, LA, passed from this life on September 14, 2024, while under hospice care. She was born on April 21, 1939 in Jennings, LA to Ben and Anna Clement Miller.
Bernetta was a loving mother, wife grandmother and great grandmother.
Those left to cherish her memory are, her husband of 65 years, Dreux Summers, Sr.; her children, Dreux Summers, Jr., Rene Roper, Colette Harrington and Yvette Leventon; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Immaculate Conception Church, 2700 Maplewood Dr., Sulphur, LA. Pastor Tim Goodly will serve as Celebrant. Inurnment will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM.
