Feamster, Bernice Veronica - Age 83, of Fenton, passed away April 3, 2025. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Interment will follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held 2 - 8 PM Tuesday, April 8 at Sharp Funeral Homes, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton; and 10 AM until the time of the Mass at 11 AM Wednesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Those desiring may make contributions to St. John School Foundation.
Bernice was born December 31, 1941 in Detroit, the daughter of John Joseph Simoncic and Regina M. (Sobiechowski) Simoncic. Bernice graduated in 1959 from Cody High School in Detroit. She married Homer C. Feamster in Detroit on October 12, 1963. She has resided in the Fenton area since 1970. She enjoyed summers in Higgins Lake Family Campground, and wintering in Gulf Shores, Alabama. She loved her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed Polka music. Surviving are: her husband of 61 years, Homer; children, Theresa (Brian) Sherry of Linden, Gregory (Carla) Feamster of Linden, Lori (Mark) Ferguson of Grosse Ile; grandchildren, Gwendolyn Feamster, Gregory Feamster, Reid Ferguson and Crosby Ferguson; brother, Tom (Coreen) Simoncic of Naples, FL., sister-in-law, Lorraine Simoncic of Dearborn; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Simoncic.
