Bernice Esther Levy, 77, was received into the arms of her loving Savior on April 26, 2023, at the Interfaith Care Center in Carlton, MN. Her parents were Bernard and Eina Levy, and she was born in Baltimore, MD on May 8, 1945. She was very proud of both her Jewish and Finnish heritage. During her childhood she lived in Amango, MN; Los Angeles, CA; and Grant's Pass, OR, before moving to Duluth, MN where she attended Central High School. Bernice was employed by St. Mary's Hospital (now Essentia) in the food service department for many years. She loved children and did a lot of childcare both before and after her retirement. Although Bernice had no remaining known relatives, she had many special friends, especially Eva, Bob, Lindsey, Lauren, Peggy, and Carol who had a special graveside service with the help of Dougherty funeral services. Bernice truly loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was anxious for the day when she would see Him face to face!
