Bernice Catherine Snoderly, born February 14, 1935 grew up Somerset, Kentucky to Fred and Leslie Barnett passed into the kingdom of God on December 10, 2023.   Cathy grew up in Somerset, moved to Elyria, OH and began her career with  Mid-Continent Telephone (AllTel) as an operator. Working for AllTel she moved up the corporate ladder into a management position as the company became AllTel. Cathy was very proud of her business accomplishments in a time when it was very difficult for females to succeed in management.
  Cathy married John Snoderly and moved to Springfield Twp. where she became a member of Lakemore United Methodist Church. Cathy was a very active and proud member of the church, serving on numerous committees. She particularly enjoyed visiting with homebound church members, bringing them much joy. Cathy always tried to be available for anyone who needed a helping hand or an ear to talk to, both in and out of the church community.   Cathy was an avid gardener who loved to share the fruits of her garden and blueberry bush. Grandma Cathy was also known for her delicious pies and cobblers, especially her apple pies. She and John enjoyed traveling the world, many sailing trips, and camping adventures with the grandkids.
  Cathy was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years John, parents Fred and Leslie, brother Fred Norman, and sister Amelia "Pat" Keeney.
  Cathy is survived by her daughters Susan (Danny) Davis, Deann (Jeff) Moore, granddaughters Shelby Moore, Kristen (Anthony) Montelone & great grandson Lorenzo, brothers Jerry Barnett, Lewis (Brenda) Barnett and sister Kay Phelps along with many nieces and nephews.
  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in the memory of Cathy to Lakemore United Methodist Church.   Family and friends will be received Wednesday, December 13th from 11 am to 12 pm at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale St. NW Uniontown, OH, 44685. Funeral service will begin at 12 pm with burial to follow at Uniontown Greenlawn Cemetery.
