Bernice Margaret Webster, 96, of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at her home on January 20, 2026 and was ushered into the presence of her Lord and savior Jesus Christ. She was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late John and Mary (Kruchinski) Ozaistowicz on March 10, 1929. Bernice resided in Lewiston for the last 30+ years and was a former member of both the Lewiston Lioness Lions Club and the Red Hats. She retired in the early 90s and volunteered with hospice for a short time following her retirement. Bernice enjoyed reading, solving crossword puzzles, Hallmark movies, and viewing the family photographs sent to her Skylight viewing frame. She cherished the time spent at family gatherings or just visiting one-on-one with people. Her family remembers her great sense of humor and the joy she brought to Christmas and birthday celebrations. She is and always will be deeply missed.
Bernice is remembered by her children, Barbara (Rick) Warzywak, Janet Boone, William (Sharron) Webster, and James Webster; grandchildren, Amanda (Nuno), Matthew (Krystle), Megan (Kyle), Micah, Adam, Becky (Jeff), Katie (Andy), Sarah, Jessica (Jon), Rachelle (Kevin), Jacquelyn, William (Cassandra), Shane (Melissa), Conner, and Nicole; 29 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Linda Webster; and brother, Thomas (Nancy) Ozaistowicz. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary; husband, William; son, Raymond; son-in-law, Steve; infant daughter, Nancy; and brother, John.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a remembrance celebration of her life planned to take place during the summer.
