He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Hollingsworth Wilson; and brother, Glenn Wilson. Bernice is survived by his sisters, Debra Wilson, and Margaret McKinney and husband, Phil; and brother, Rayford Wilson.
A funeral service will be held 11am Friday, June 21, 2024 at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 1310 S. Main St., Lillington, NC 27546 with Rev. James Taylor officiating. Burial will follow the service at Erwin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 10am – 11am prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, www.kidney.org.
