Berniece Wright
Hattie Berniece Wright was born on June 4, 1933 to the late Benjamin and Hattie (Robinson) Thornburgh in Silva, Missouri and passed away on January 15, 2026 in Dudley, Missouri at the age of 92.
Berniece had been a resident of Southeast Missouri for the entirety of her life and was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Berniece enjoyed attending church, reading the bible, knitting, crocheting, baking and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Berniece is survived by a son, George (Clara) Wright, of Dudley, Missouri, a grandchild, Vikki Ward, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, 4 great grandchildren, Roman, Gracie, Maverick and Mia, a brother Bob Thornburgh, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.
Berniece was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Bryan and Crandell, and 2 sisters, Linda Hackworth and Karen Johnson.
