Bert Blevins Jr.

BLEVINS, Bert Jr., age 85, of Englewood, OH, formerly of Centerville, OH passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014. Bert was a long-time member of the Church of the Nazarene and worked as a tool & dye maker for General Motors for 44 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers. Bert is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Lois (Pelfrey) Blevins; sons, Michael (Liz) Blevins, Keith Blevins, and Jerry (Marge) Blevins; daughter, Linda (Kelly) Clark; sisters, Virginia (Edward) Lavendar, Gertrude Reed, and Dorothy (John) Williams; brothers, Harold (Pat) Herron, Richard (Linda) Blevins, and Ronald (Portia) Blevins; grandchildren, David (Alison) Blevins, Courtney (Erik) Wirth, Mark (Katie) Blevins, Heather (Aaron) Bays, Kellie (Chaz) Burke, Cody Blevins, Rachel (Hamed) Yazarlou, Lora Blevins, Michelle Blevins, and Janelle Blevins; ten cherished great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends from 5:00-8:00pm on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 26, 2014 also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
