Though her earthly journey has come to an end, Berta is reunited with her cherished husband, Elias H. Sanchez, and her grandsons, John Sanchez and Michael, who preceded her in death. The celebration of Berta's life will take place on February 6, 2026, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marfa. The day will begin with visitation from 9:00 AM, followed by a rosary at 9:30 AM. The funeral service will commence at 10:00 AM, concluding with interment at Cementerio de la Merced, where her spirit will find eternal peace.
