Mrs. Bertha Ann Bonner, 79, of Waynesboro, MS passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Uriah, AL on Friday, March 3, 1944. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was retired from Wayne Medical Lab as a Bookkeeper. Mrs. Bonner is preceded in death by her father, Sham Adams and Mother, Ina Colbert; brother, Hubert Adams; two sisters, Jeanette Kirksey, Francis Hill; and son-in-law, Ronnie Greene. She is survived by her husband, Nathan Bonner, Waynesboro, MS; son, Benji Bonner, Waynesboro, MS; two daughters, Christa Brewer (Gerald), Waynesboro, MS, Cynthia Greene, Waynesboro, MS; sister, Marie Smith (Ben), Alabama; seven grandchildren, Justin Brewer (Rachel), Waynesboro, MS, Allen Waller (Jessica), Waynesboro, MS, Hailey Holdren (Lee), Chillicothe, OH, Natalie Brewer, Waynesboro, MS, Colton Greene, Waynesboro, MS, Rachel Greene, Waynesboro, MS, Jalyn Brewer, Waynesboro, MS; three great-grandchildren, Aven Atkins, Jenson Brewer, and Adi Holdren. Visitation for Mrs. Bonner will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Harris and Rev. Jason Sehon officiating. Interment will be in Winchester Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Winchester Cemetery Association, 65 Ken Barnett Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367.
