Bertha "Pattie" Mae Collier, 95, was born September 1, 1930, to Ellis Bradley Pedigo and Velma Mae (Babbs) Pedigo in a small, framed house on East Main Street in Geary, OK, and peacefully passed away December 14, 2025, in Chino, CA.

Bertha was affectionately known as Pattie by everyone around her. She was married in 1946 to Clifford Daniel Johnson, and to this union she had one son, Clifford Daniel Johnson Jr. on January 3, 1947, in Enid, OK. Pattie married Max Ellis Collier of Nash, OK on August 13, 1949, until he preceded her in death on July 6, 1990. Her later longtime companion, Donald Sloper, preceded her in death in November of 2024.

She was an adventurous spirit who loved to travel, with memorable journeys to captivating places like Egypt and China. She had a passion for line dancing and enjoyed crafting, which reflected her creative side. Most importantly, Pattie cherished her family deeply and treasured every moment spent together, creating lasting memories that will be forever remembered. She will be missed by all.

Pattie is lovingly survived by her only son, Clifford Daniel Johnson Jr. and his wife, Connie of Cement, OK; her three grandchildren, Clifford Daniel Johnson III and his wife Anita of Chickasha, OK, Jeremy Levi Johnson of Cement, OK, and Taylor Danielle Looper and her husband Dalton of Blackwell, OK; four greatgrandchildren, RayLee Gibson of Chickasha, OK, Chance Johnson of Chickasha, Jonathan Niemeyer of Chickasha, and Rowen Looper of Blackwell, OK; one brother, Cleatis Pedigo of Spokane, WA; extended family, and many friends.

She is now reunited with her two husbands, her longtime companion, Donald Sloper; her parents, Ellis Bradley and Velma Mae (Babbs) Pedigo; two sisters, Violet Charlene and Connie Lee, one brother, Clarence Roy (Uncle Bus) and his wife Joanne.

Viewing for Pattie will be 10AM, Friday, December 19, 2025 at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home in Fort Gibson.

Pattie's celebration of life will be held 11:00AM, Friday, December 19, 2025, at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK with her grandson, Daniel, officiating. The family of Bertha "Pattie" Mae Collier has entrusted her care, service, and burial to Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Fort Gibson. 918-478-2555.
