Born and raised in Camden, New Jersey, Bertha Violet Davis Eachus,
lovingly known as Dolly, passed away peacefully on December 2,
2024, at the age of 83 in North Carolina. She was the cherished
daughter of Violet N. Davis, granddaughter of Bertha and Arthur G.
Davis, and devoted childhood sweetheart and wife of Ralph E.
Eachus, affectionately called "Each."
Dolly is survived by her beloved family: her son, Ralph W. Eachus,
and his wife Tara Eachus; her daughter, Debora A. Eachus, and her
husband Francis Bolletino; her treasured grandchildren, Valerie A.
Eachus, Logan E. Eachus, and Ashley A. Kreider; and her great-
grandson, Harry Eckhardt. She also leaves behind a loving extended
family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless relatives and
friends whose lives she touched deeply.
Anyone who met Dolly quickly fell in love with her vibrant spirit.
Whether she was at home raising her children, celebrating the
holidays, enjoying family vacations, or soaking in the sun at her
favorite place—Wildwood, New Jersey—Dolly was always the life of
the party. Her infectious laughter, quick wit, and her trademark
phrase, “You got that right,” brought joy to everyone around her.
To know Dolly was to love her. She had a unique way of making
everyone feel welcomed and cherished with her warm heart and
loving nature. Her bright and funny personality made the world a
better, happier place. Though she has left this world, Dolly's
memory and love will forever live on in the hearts of her family and
all who knew her. Her legacy continues through her children,
grandchildren, and the countless lives she brightened along the
way. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
