Bertha Diane Evans

Bertha Diane Gilmore Evans, age 69 Winston Salem, passed away on Thursday November 27, 2025. She was born in High Point on April 12, 1956 to Sarah Elizabeth Gilmore and Hue Wylie Gilmore. She was disabled, butshe had a heart of gold. She loved to ride and go places and would give her last. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; two sisters, Frankie Gilmore Lewery and Sharon Gilmore; three brothers; and two nieces, Shante Brooks and Sonia Duff. She has one brother left, William Duff; four nieces, Natasha Thompson Caldwell (Cory Caldwell), Niya Thompson, Keisha Duff and Lynna Harrell; five nephews, Lil' Willie Harrell, Lil' Mike Jasper, Antonio Lewery and Cliffton Duff; five great-nieces, Whitnee Watkins, Khadijah Watkins, Sarai Ross, Danishes Baker and Daequasha Baker; three great-nephews, Cedric, Anthony and Brandon; two great-great-nieces; and six great-great-nephews.
