Bertie Rogers Obituary
Mrs. Bertie Mae sewed and was good at it. She enjoyed working in her vegetable garden and reading her bible. She loved her family fiercely. She loved her church, Riverside Chapel.
She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-five years, Herman W. Rogers, her parents and three siblings.
She is survived by her son, Anthony Herman Rogers (Tony); grandsons, Derek Wilson Rogers (Kristy), Terry Lee Rogers; siblings, Mary Ware, Billy Joe Bynum, Shirley Fontaine, DeDe Shorter, Hilmer Bynum, Hilda Price and many nieces and nephews.
The graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Southern Memorial Gardens in Magee, MS, at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Jimmie King officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Bertie requested no flowers and instead donate to your favorite charity.
