Berylene Shrader Robinette, 89, daughter of the late Ida Thompson Shrader and Clayton Shrader of Montcalm WV passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, at her residence (Mercer Healthcare Center) in Bluefield WV.
She overcame many obstacles of several cancerous conditions along with hip surgery prior to having to give up her home place. During this time, she was cared for by Tara Poe (Alex) She was proceeded in death by her husband Clayton Everett Robinette “Bobby”, her parents Ida Thompson Shrader and Clayton Shrader, half siblings Christina, William-and Eugene, nephew Charles Poe Jr (Chet) who during her first cancer made daily calls to check on her; Sister-in-law Launa Maxey; and brother in law, Charles Robinette.
She is survived by her husband's nieces who were responsible for her care for the past several years Kathy Robinette Sarver, Carol Robinette Poe and Donna Robinette Sigmon. (Alan) She is also survived by her long time friend Paulette Warden (Charles), her neighbors Rose Smothers (Randy) and Dan Worley who would often gather at her home place prior to her recent residence to socialize and share stories, Johnny Peoples who checked on her weekly and was always there to lend a hand for small repairs and upkeep of her home. She also leaves to cherish the memories Terry Sarver nephew, a sister in law, Norma Watkins of Highpoint, NC several nieces and nephews from her husband's side along with cousins on her side. A special mention of Mercer Healthcare center staff who took great care and attention during her residency with them. A special Thank you to the nursing staff on Monday evening for comfort and prayers.
Join us for a celebration of her 89 years of memories on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
Friends may call prior to services, from 10:00-11:00AM at the funeral home on Saturday.
