Bessie Chandler Obituary
She was preceded in death by her son, Barney Lee Chandler, Jr.; brothers, Millard Till and Willie Bryan Till; sisters, Josephine Dailey and Margaret Dailey.
She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Chandler, Christy (Scott) Caver, Sheila Somers; son, Samuel Chandler; brother, Joseph (Virgie) Till, Jr.; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
She worked in the family business in Selma and later retired from West Alabama Rehab / Easter Seals.
Visitation will be Friday, May 3, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home in Selma. Graveside services will be Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Chandler Family Cemetery in Maplesville.
