"Together Again"

Bessie Mae Lowe, age 91, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Friday, August 1st, 2025 due to an extended illness, surrounded by family at her side at the Walnut Hills retirement community, where she was cared for by Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care.

Bessie was born March 4th, 1934 to Mary and Web Strunk of Whitley County Kentucky. On November 25th, 1961 she married Clyde Lowe and he preceded her in death on September 27th, 2021.

Bessie worked 50 years for Rea and Associates and worked another 10 years for Marlin Moore at Moore's Lawn and garden. She was a long-standing active member of both the Killbuck First Church of Christ and the Holmesville Church of Christ. Bessie enjoyed volunteering in her community, reading and baking chocolate chip cookies and loved her grandchildren more than life. She was a wonderful, unconditional loving woman, especially to her late husband, Clyde.

She is survived by three children: Bryan (Cindy) Lowe of Coshocton, Ohio, Vanessa Dahlstein of Seminole, Florida and Steve (Dee) Lowe of Millersburg, Ohio and was the grandmother to 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Clyde; all of her siblings; and a grandson, Nathan Yoder.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 8th at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Pastor Robert Hines officiating. Burial will take place in Blissfield Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
