Funeral service for Ms. Bessie Tubby Wilson will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Mt. Zion Choctaw Indian Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Patrick and Rev. Ricky Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Redwater Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 PM Monday, September 29, 2025 at Mt. Zion Choctaw Indian Baptist Church. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge. Ms. Wilson, 93, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Choctaw Health Center. She was a member of Mt. Zion Choctaw Indian Baptist Church and a member of WMU. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sammie Wilson, Sr; parents, Charley Tubby and Betsie Scott; sisters, Katie Mae Tubby, Alice John, Colleen Tubby, twins, Jean and Jane Tubby, Mary Marie Tubby; brothers, JC Tubby, Jack Tubby, Leon Tubby, Claude Yates Tubby; grandchildren, Stevenson Wilson, Kristy Wilson, Reanna Wilson, Cameron Wilson, Shane Thomas, Sr., Shawn Thomas, Tasha Wilson Davis, Kasey Wilson, Shaunry Thomas, Sr.; great-grandchildren, Antone Thomas, Baby Wilson; daughter-in-law, Glorianna Wilson; son-in-law, Raymond Willis, Sr. Survivors include daughter, Virginia Wilson Willis; sons, Sammie (Betty) Wilson, Arnold (Marion) Wilson, Tony (Wanda) Wilson, Pastor Carl (Gail) Wilson, Fredrick (Clara) Wilson, Charles Wilson, Willard (Becky) Wilson, Steven (Sharon) Wilson and Richard (Lori) Wilson; brother, Edward Tubby; 28 grandchildren, 109 great-grandchildren, 25 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Chris Evans, Kevin Willis, Bo Steve, Ricky Edwards, Jr., Titan Edwards, Mark Jim, Jaydre Bell, Vandell Vaughn.
