Beth-Ann McCourt Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Oak Ridge Funeral Care - Haines City on Dec. 9, 2025.
On December 4th, surrounded by family and loved ones, Beth-Ann McCourt, age 48, concluded a courageous two-year battle with the same affliction that claimed her beloved nephew, Christopher Green. Her strength, humor, and resilience remained with her until the very end.

Beth-Ann was born on September 29, 1977, in Somers Point, New Jersey, to Victoria and Gorden McCourt Jr. She graduated from Oakcrest High School and later pursued a career in hospitality and property management, where her dedication and strong work ethic earned her the respect of colleagues and clients alike. In her spare time, she embraced the family tradition of commercial clamming-a passion that connected her deeply to her roots.

Beth-Ann is survived by her wife of 11 years, Sylvia Winslow; her dear friend from across the world, Ropes; her grandmother, Lillian McCourt; her parents, Victoria and Gorden McCourt Jr. She leaves behind her sons James Clagett Jr. and Tyler Clagett (Hailey); her daughter Mariah Winslow; and her cherished grandchildren Ryder, Angel, Stone, Ana, and Hunter. She is also survived by her siblings Victoria Belber (Jason), Heather Imperatore, Jamie Campbell (Randy), Savanna McCourt (Eric), and Gorden McCourt III (Melanie), along with numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Gorden McCourt Sr., Francis and Margaret Tilley; her sister Tammy Jo Stuckey; and David T. and David W.

A viewing for Beth-Ann will be held at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 1001 E Grace Ave, Haines City, FL 33844, on Saturday the 13th at 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.

Beth-Ann will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her quiet strength, and the kindness she showed to everyone lucky enough to know her.

The family kindly requests that flowers be ordered from Angelic Flowers at 863-297-5730.
