Beth Lewis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Paul Funeral Home, Inc. - St. Charles on Feb. 12, 2026.
Elizabeth "Beth" "Bessie Bo" Idyle Lewis went home to be with the Lord on February 10, 2026, surround by her loving family.

To know Bessie was to know a whirlwind of happiness; She loved her Barbies and embracing the world with the same vibrant energy and kindness. She was the person who truly "danced like no one was watching" and sang like she was center stage at a sold-out concert. Bessie will be truly missed by All who knew her.

Bessie is survived by her Siblings - Lorie Nancy Crawford nee Lewis, Mary Jane Spafford nee Lewis, Christine Ann Hinkel nee Lewis, Sherry Lynn Berger nee Lewis, Sandy Lewis nee Smith, Donnie Regot, Bill Berger. She has many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews that she loved dearly.

Bessie was preceded in death by beloved Parents - Bert Harrison Lewis Sr. and Lorraine Florence Lewis nee Tietz, her Siblings - John Williams Lewis, Hazel Naomi Regot nee Lewis, Bert Harrison Lewis Junior, Lorraine Florence "Goodsy" Lynch nee Lewis, Myrtle Alice Knight nee Lewis, Arthur Noel Lewis, and Robert Eugene Lewis "Robbie", Brother-in-law's - Davy Crawford, Frank Hinkel, Paul Spafford, Clinton "Bud" Scowden, Richard Knight, Buster Lynch, and Jack Crossman.

To our friends at Warren County pathfinders, we would like to share our deepest gratitude for the incredible impact you've had on Bessie's life, she truly loved every moment spent at Warren County pathfinders, and it was clearly her home away from home. We want to extend our very special thank you to Shawns, Kelli, Jean Shaw, and Shelly Pratt, and her very good friend - Jeff Pogue, along with the rest of the staff. Thank you for treating Bessie like family, your dedication and personal care approach made Bessie feel seen, capable, and proud of everything she achieved. You made her feel safe and truly loved. You truly made Bessie feel at home.
