Beth Millard

MORTON – Elizabeth S. "Beth" Millard, 71, of Morton, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria. She was born on October 1, 1952, in Peoria, to Ralph and Patricia (Blust) Ford. Beth married Jeffrey "Jeff" Millard on January 24, 1970, in East Peoria. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2023. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kirk Ford. Surviving are her sons, Aaron Millard of Peoria and Tony (Amy) Millard of Oswego; grandchildren, Avery, Ashton, Tinley and Paris Millard; sister, Patti (Donald) Abel of Morton; and sister-in-law, Jeanne Ford of Peoria. Beth taught fourth grade at Keller Elementary School in Peoria for over 20 years, retiring in 2012. She was a member of Summit Point Church in East Peoria. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton, with Pastors Tim Harkness and Mike Klopfenstein officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 5:45 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following services. Memorials may be made to Summit Point Church.
