Beth Ann Minor

Beth Minor, 83, went to Heaven on Monday, October 2, 2023, to be with her husband, Jim Minor; and her mother and father, Lou, and John Wiman.
She is survived by her sons, Scott (Karen), Jay (Traci), and David (Sarah); her grandchildren, Allison (Jordan), Jayelle (Lennon), Weston (Megan), Cameron (Delaney), Jonathan, Garrett (Maggie), Jakeob, Kyle, and Brooklyn; her younger siblings Nancy Wiley, Sue (Charles) Armstrong, Bill (Amy) Wiman, Fred (Joyce) Wiman, Steve (Emily) Wiman; and countless friends and cousins.
From a young age, Beth was a shining pianist. An excellent sight-reader, she was a sought-after accompanist at Snyder high school and local churches, taught lessons in her home, and continued to play for her friends at Silver Elm, happy to bring joy to others. She was a dedicated partner to Jim, helping him in their shared occupations, even when that meant driving an 18-wheeler across the country. As Jim struggled with dementia, she helped him with grace and affection. While Jim was with Mobil Oil, they moved often, raising a family in seven states, yet Beth was outgoing and never met a stranger. She never gave unsolicited advice and was always a staunch cheerleader for all her children, grandchildren, and friends. She will be remembered as a loving partner, adoring mother, supportive grandmother, and faithful friend.
She died peacefully. She will be immeasurably missed.
A service to remember and celebrate Beth's life will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 2:00PM at Crawford Family Funeral Service in Edmond, OK. A come-and-go visitation will be held throughout the day prior from 1:00PM-8:00PM, with the family of Beth present from 5:00PM-8:00PM. Please use the north (front) entrance when attending the visitation, and the chapel (west/carport) entrance when attending the service.
